VIDEO: Creating Texture in Watercolor

Hello!

I was asked to do some videos on basic watercolor techniques so I tried to combine a number of texture creation examples into this!  Feel free to let me know what other basics you would like to learn about and I will do my best to fit it into future content!

Tools

Surfaces: These demos were done on various paper scraps and samples so my best guess is: Canson 140lb cold press watercolor paper, Fabriano 300lb cold press watercolor paper and Daniel Smith Titanium White watercolor ground.

Paint: Daniel Smith Prussian Blue, Daniel Smith Pthalo Green, Pearl Ex pigments Aztec Gold, 70% Isopropyl alcohol, liquid dish soap.

Brushes:  Various synthetic brushes including Royal and Langnickel 13 flatbrush.
