Materials Used:

Surface

QoR watercolor ground (regular, not the hot or cold press) 

Daniel Smith watercolor ground in Titanium White

Stonehenge Aqua Hotpress 140lb watercolour paper.

Hardboard panels pulled from the back of two shadowboxes. 

Brushes

10/0 Royal & Langnickel

4 size synthetic brush by Princeton 

0 size synthetic brush by Princeton  

9 size brush by unknown brand (name rubbed off), soft bristles that hold a lot of water for doing washes and backgrounds. 

Small size VERY dull Pentel Aquash Water Brush (filled with just water) 

Paints

Carbazole Violet by Daniel Smith

Prussian Blue by Daniel Smith

Burgundy Yellow Ochre  by Daniel Smith

Viridian Green by L’Aquarelle 

Azo Yellow Light by Van Gogh

My hand mixed “black” which consists of Yellow Ochre, Carbazole Violet and Prussian Blue watercolours. 

Aztec Gold Powder Pigment by PearlEx
