Through dust, chill and darkness, I’ll be the light in your dreams
Have you ever had a friend you knew only while asleep? Some of my best allies and closest companions are those I meet with only outside of this waking world. Sometimes, these beings show up in different forms but in the way of dream-logic, I know who they are. This is a piece about climbing through the darkness to know those people and places that are best for you. It can be so easy to seek out quick desires that leave us drained, or people who don’t truly value us. Let this be your reminder that you have places of belonging, and people who value you. You’ll know them when you see them, so keep climbing.
